I revamped a character I made in middle school, you guys are gonna love this-
My fellow humans, allow me to introduce you to Lukas Murphy
He is mixed, his grandfather on his moms side was Japanese.
And now, his story:
When Lukas was 16, he and his 10-year-old sister experienced a break in. It became a hostage situation, and tragically, Lukas had to resort to killing the intruder to protect his sister. Furthermore, the kill gave him a rush like he had never felt before. After one taste, he found that he developed a need for the rush to function like he normally would. Once the urge arises, he has to sate it, lest he become drained. He can go a month or so before he needs another victim. However, he does not like his dependency, and cannot bring himself to take just anyone. Because of this, his victims are only the people he believes deserve to be targeted.
Friendly reminder that GIMP does pretty much everything Photoshop does, and it’s 100% free. Fuck DRM and the license culture, we have plenty of open source options available to us as a consumer.
- Lightworks is a freeware video editor on par with Premiere
- Blender is an excellent freeware 3D renderer,possibly better than After Effects
- Lightzone to replace Lightroom
- Inkscape to replace Illustratr
- Audacity to replace Audition (I also received a free version of Pro Tools with my Scarlett Solo audio interface)
If Adobe is going to be greedy shitheads, then fuck ‘em. Don’t use their stuff. Freeware can be just as good, if not better, than Adobe CC.

I will keep saying this: GIMP sucks butts.
- Medibang Paint and Fire Alpaca for more cartoon style illustration
- Krita for painting
- Clip Studio Paint (not free, but often on sale and cheap even at full price) is better than PS for art and I’m about to cut adobe entirely. Even does some photo editing.
- Paint Tool SAI (again, not free but cheap) old but good, there’s a ton of hacked copies around too. Not hard to get for free.
- Open Tunez for animation.
I’m currently using Affinity Photo and it’s a great Photoshop alternative. One time fee only and it’s not really expensive, plus supports PSD formats. Free trial available too!
Davinci Resolve for video editing is amazing as well! :)
I work Adobe free. Clip Studio Paint does just about anything any Photoshop or Illustrator could, Davinci Resolve is easier to use than Premiere and just as useful. Adobe can eat shit.

It has also come to my attention that search history and info in period trackers may also be used against us. For that reason, I recommend:
- Stardust - stardust is a period tracker, and it is a safe alternative app if you do not trust your normal tracker.
- Ecosia - Ecosia is a web browser that works just as well as your default. They do not track your info, they do not create a profile of you, and they do not sell your info to advertisers or anyone if that sort. Not only do they value privacy, but they use 100% of their revenue to go towards planting trees. If you want to benefit our dying planet AND be safe while doing it, I highly recommend this browser. I have been using it for over 2 years and have no complaints.
